On their sixtieth wedding anniversary, a reporter came to interview the couple.
"What big problems have you had in your marriage?" he asked the elderly woman.
"Well, there’s really been only two… Pa and the fire."
"Please explain what you mean by ‘Pa and the fire’" asked the reporter.
With a gleam in her eye, she explained, "When I paid too much attention to one the other went out!"
